Around minute 31, Rose breaks her glass when the alarm goes off
Story
After a psychiatrist witnesses a strange, traumatic incident involving a female patient, she becomes increasingly convinced that she is being threatened by an unusual entity. Days before the film’s release on September 30, 2022, the cast attended various baseball games while sitting down. behind home plate, calm and smiling, staring at the camera, not moving despite the understandably worried fans in the crowd wearing smiley T-shirts. Another soon appeared in the background with the crowd during today’s show.
Rose Cotter: Who are you?
When you can see the glass on her feet, she is wearing socks. Seconds later, she’s lacing up her shoes as she checks the door. Based on what happens later in the game, there are a few continuity issues that may not be "bugs" but it may actually be intentional to show "interruptions" In Rose’s mind/mind. Why are you doing this to me?
Monster: Because your mind is so attractive
Paramount’s opening and closing logos feature a curved line in the shape of a smile at the base of a mountain. Featured in Chris Stuckman’s Movie Reviews: The Smile (2022). Lollipop Written by Beverly Ross & Julius Dixon performed by The Chordettes. Sosie Bacon stars as an incompetent therapist who mutters platitudes and does nothing while bad things happen to her patients.
It’s a bit absurd, but it’s brilliantly produced
After proving herself incapable of providing basic first aid to anyone within a fifty mile radius, she caught the ghost case. The ghouls follow her around because she’s creepy and doesn’t do much, perhaps as an ironic mocker. None of the characters, supernatural or otherwise, seem to be good at their jobs. Decent acting, good cinematography, solid editing and engaging direction.
It’s worth watching once, just for fun
It’s a good time, despite the mind-dead characters, copy-paste writing, cringeworthy dialogue, and endless clichés. It’s a fun and occasionally effective, soft, bouncy horror – a highly polished murky film that’s so great you can’t smell it anymore.
