Story

Struggling with his dual identity, failed comedian Arthur Fleck meets the love of his life, Harley Quinn, while incarcerated at Arkham State Hospital. Lady Gaga, Brendan Gleeson and writer-director Todd Phillips share what scared them the most about tackling the musical sequel. The subtitle of the film „Folie a Deux“ means "The Madness of Two" in French. This initially led to speculation about Harley Quinn appearing in the film, which was confirmed soon after.

The plot, at times fragmented and predictable, cannot live up to its predecessor. The characters, while interesting, take a backseat to the action, which is lost in pointless diversions.

Despite the technical advantages and excellent performances, the story is weak

In conclusion, Joker: Madness at Two is a film that leaves a bitter taste in the mouth, often even boring. A sequel that disappointed expectations, with a poor plot and much less emotional impact than the first film.
