Your own photo exhibition at Studentenwerk – apply now!

You have got an idea for a photo series or one waiting to be displayed? You always wanted to find a place to exhibit your work? Studentenwerk Leipzig enables you to realise this wish and supports you during your preparations. You deliver the photos, we provide the framework of your exhibition: space, equipment and grants for the material costs. 

We are looking for students who would like to show their photographic works in Studentenwerk for two months. The subject of the exhibition may be chosen freely.

Requirements 

• The student photographers must be enrolled in one of the eight Leipzig Universities/Academies, which are associated with the Studentenwerk Leipzig, for the whole course of the exhibition.
• The photographs have to be printed by the students themselves, glued onto a carrier material and handed in with a label.

Criteria

• The costs for development, prints and carrier material are covered up to a fixed amount.
• You may use 24 frames sized 59.4 x 84 cm (DIN A1).
• The exhibition spaces are located in the hallways of the 1^st and 2^nd floor of the Studentenwerrk building at Goethestraße 6. The exhibition may be visited during the usual office hours.
• The photography exhibitions are financed by means of cultural funding by Studentenwerk.

The photographs are usually exhibited for two months. Thus, every applicant stands a good chance of participating.
